Customization

Customization isn’t a wall you pay through any more.

We want the feedback. Tell us what your operation needs that the software doesn’t do yet — if it is a good feature and we can see our other operators wanting it, we build it, and you don’t pay for it.

How it works

Three kinds of change, three different answers.

A setting

Most of what operators ask for already exists as a switch. More than twenty of them decide what your drivers see and must do, and your office controls every one. That is a phone call, not a project.

A feature others would use

If your idea would help the rest of our customers too, it belongs in the product rather than on an invoice. We build it, everyone gets it, and you are not charged for it.

Something only you need

Your zones, your paperwork, a client’s file format, a workflow nobody else runs. That is quoted — and it costs a fraction of what this kind of work used to, for the reason below.

Why it costs less now

AI writes the draft. Twenty years of our own code tells it what good looks like.

Custom work used to be expensive because it was slow, and it was slow because every change started from nothing. That is no longer true, and we are passing the difference on rather than pocketing it.

  • Fast, and genuinely inexpensive — AI working against twenty years of our own courier code writes the first draft. That is what changed the price of custom work, and we are passing it on.
  • A real programmer checks every line — nothing reaches your system because a machine thought it was right. It is reviewed and released by one of our people, and every defect we find becomes a permanent test.
  • The whole test suite runs before anything ships — a change made for you cannot quietly break something for somebody else.
  • Ask early, not never — the work that makes a system fit your operation should happen in the first month, not the third year.

How we use AI

The old way

Ask for a change, get a quote and a year.

That is what customization has meant in this industry for as long as any of us have been in it — which is why operators stop asking, and settle for software that half fits. We would rather you kept asking.

Where it shows up

The willingness to configure is the product.

Cartage and DSD operators tell us this is what they were missing everywhere else — not a slicker screen, but a vendor prepared to bend the software to how they actually run. Enterprise quotes include the customization scoped into them, so the work is priced once, up front, with everything else.

Tell us what is missing.

Bring the thing your current system won’t do. We will tell you straight whether it is a setting, a free build or a quote.
