Both ends of the movement

A signature at the door is not a chain of custody.

Pharmaceutical delivery needs the pickup proven as rigorously as the delivery. IDS scans and locates both, so the record has no gap in the middle.

  • Pickup and delivery location scans — both ends captured with GPS coordinates, so custody is continuous rather than assumed between them.
  • Offline signature capture — depots, basements and hospital loading docks are where signal dies. Capture holds on the device and syncs when it returns — nothing is lost and nothing is re-keyed.
  • Label scanning — the app reads the barcode symbologies used on pharmacy and distributor labels and turns them into shipments, instead of a driver typing a reference off a box.
  • Overage and shortage, handled at the door — a driver creates the shipment on the spot when what is on the truck does not match what was expected — recorded as it happened, not reconstructed at the depot.
